Fix leaks as soon as possible:
- Make sure to fix leaky pipes as soon as possible, because cockroaches love damp places. Healthy living is about taking a preemptive step.

Make a tick-repelling lemon Spray:
- Ticks avoid citrus.
- Boil 2 cups of water, and add two lemons or limes sliced. Simmer for 1 hour. Strain the fruit out; let it cool and into the sprayer. Squirt it on you, your kids, your yard and your pets.

Make a garlic and hot chili possum repellent:
- Mix 2 tablespoon of crushed garlic or hot chili in 1 liter of boiling water. Let it cool. Pour in a sprayer and squirt on your plants.

Make our soapy peppermint spray to repel mice and rodents:
- Mix 1 cup unscented baby shampoo and 25 drops of peppermint essential oil.
- Fill a spray bottle with the mixture and spray on areas and surfaces where you wish to repel them like basements and garages.

- Are flies taking over your home or garden? Create a natural shield.
- Add fly repelling plants around your home. It is an easy way to keep flies away. We recommend plants such as basil, bay leaves, catnip, lavender, mint, and rosemary.

Store food in pest-safe containers:
- Make sure food containers are free of any holes that bugs and critters can get into.
- Also make sure that all containers are BPA-free.

Try apple cider as a flea repellent:
- Fleas hate apple cider vinegar.
- Mix 2 tsp of ACV with 1 cup of water, spray your animals and rub it into their fur.
- You can also add apple cider vinegar into your animals’ drinking water.
- Start with 1 tsp and slowly increase the amount to two tablespoons for 1 gallon of water.

Try a peppermint spider repellent:
- Spiders hate peppermint oil.
- Add 10 to 15 drops of peppermint essential oil into a spray bottle with 8 to 12 ounces of water.
- Spray around door frames, windows, small cracks, corners of the ceilings and bathrooms.
- Use peppermint essential oil without water for a more potent version.

Use cinnamon and garlic to repel ants:
- Place cinnamon sticks and peeled and sliced garlic cloves around window tracks or holes in the house.
- Replace the cloves every 3 days until ants are gone.

Use steel wool to keep out mice:
- Cover holes that mice can get into with steel wool. The steel wool is too hard for mice and other critters to chew through.
