  1. Hard Water Stains Clean with Lemon.

    Example of where you would find hard water stains, shower heads and faucets. To clean these simply cut a lemon in ½ & rub it on the surface, the acid from the lemons cuts right through the stain not damaging the metal or glass.

  2. Glass, Mirrors & Windows = Dryer Sheets

    You can use non-toxic dryer sheets to clean shower glass, mirrors, windows & other glass in the house. It cost less 7 avoids using toxic chemicals in window cleaners solutions.

  3. Remove Pet Fur with a Squeegee.

    Simply drag squeegee across the carpet & Voila!

  4. Clean Cast Iron with Salt.

    Scrub your skillets with a soft sponge & coarse salt. The salt is use as an abrasive scrub to get rid of oils & food. Rinse & dry

  5. Clean Stainless Steel with Vinegar.

    Apply to a soft cloth and make sure to rinse well so film doesn’t form.

  6. Clean with Coffee Filters too…

    Coffee filters can be used to clean LCD screens, computer screens, and other displays.

  7. Hanger Trick for the Closet.

    When putting the laundry away turn the hanger over. After a year, everything still turned over. GET RID OF! Donate to a good charity or homeless shelter.

  8. Glove Trick for Dish Washing

    Try rolling up the bottoms of your dishwashing gloves like pant cuffs so it will catch the water, preventing it from spilling onto your arms.

  9. Coffee Maker Brown Looking?

    Use white vinegar monthly to remove hard water. Mix 3 cups of white vinegar with 6 cups of water, put a filter in and turn on the coffee maker. Let it run completely through.

  10. Bugs in Your Pantry!

    To keep bugs away from your grains, add bay leaves all around your pantry, Acts as a natural bug repellent.

  11. Make Natural Air Fresheners..

    Ingredients like clove or vinegar will help you avoid toxic chemicals, save money & kill odor causing bacteria in your house.

  12. Baking Soda in your Laundry?

    Add ½ cups of baking soda to increase the effectiveness of your organic detergent.

  13. Can’t find any to cleaning your tiles & grout?

    Mix equal parts of Epsom salt and organic liquid dish soap. Rinse Well

    Try making your own organic laundry detergents with essential oils.

  15. Black spots in your shower..

    Try combining 2tsp of tea tree oil and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle and spray in areas of mold and mildew. Do Not Rinse. The tea tree oil has antifungal properties.

  16. Hydrogen peroxide household cleaner

    Use Hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach in your washer dispenser.
    Mix 2 tbsps. of Hydrogen Peroxide with 2 tbsps. of Borax.
    You can also use to clean your white porcelain sinks and tubs. Make sure it is 3% hydrogen peroxide.
